My name is Elvita Kondili, founder of The Good Therapy. I am a therapist, life coach, counselor, and mindset expert. My mission is to counsel, coach and support you as you transform your life, work and relationships, one change at a time.
If you are apprehensive about talking to a therapist, you are not alone.
I know problems sometimes feel too overwhelming to deal with so you would rather ignore them. We all want to be happy, less stressed and more fulfilled but are often not sure how to get there. Change is hard especially without guidance and support.
Am I right?
As a therapist, I believe that happiness is an inside job! No matter what you want to accomplish in life, you can be your best ally or your worst enemy. That’s why mindset training can help change your beliefs and thought patterns so that you can start to feel motivated, unstuck, confident and happier.
I earned a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Massachusetts at Boston in 2003 and am currently a PhD Candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of North Carolina.
Why I BECAME A THERAPIST.
When I was in college in Albania, I volunteered with UNICEF as a refugee relief worker during the Kosova-Serbia war. I learned that connection, compassion and kindness can heal the most painful wounds and overcome the worst of wrong-doings. In fact, when we feel connected, cared for, understood, supported and guided, we can find hope even in the darkest of despair. There is no greater purpose than to be there with someone in their pain, suffering, hope, joy, accomplishment. There is no greater meaning than this.
