Dr. Elvita Kondili founded the Good Therapy in Charlotte, NC in 2010. Since then, she has been helping countless individuals and couples learn the tools and practice the skills to greater happiness, harmony, mental health and fulfillment.
Dr. Kondili specializes in mindset training and emotion regulation through the use of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) & Mindfulness Meditation. A fundamental premise of REBT is humans do not get emotionally disturbed by unfortunate circumstances, but by how they construct their views of these circumstances through their language, evaluative beliefs, meanings and philosophies about the world, themselves and others.
Dr. Kondili believes a complete transformation and lasting happiness is possible through training on the “inside out” method: instead of changing the outside things that seem to be causing problems she first helps you work with the mind to develop more positive, rational and constructive ways of viewing yourself, relationships and your purpose in the world. This way any external change you wish to make will be easier and more sustainable.
Dr. Kondili is particularly skilled in helping individuals enhance their motivation to change, learn the tools to make the changes they want in life and maintain them long-term.
